SUPER LIGHT, STRONG AND STABLE. DESIGNED TO DEVELOP YOUR KIDS AND THEIR LOVE OF ADVENTURE.

Color: Brushed Aluminium

Two Wheels. One Goal.

The low slung frame with a minimum seat height of just 31cms gives them the earliest of starts. It's classic diamond construction and cold forged drop outs are for strength and will take whatever a growing child, or an older sibling, throws at it.

A beautiful brushed finish that means the quality of the tubing and our welds are always there to see and scratches just add to its character. CNC'd aluminium hubs and axles run on sealed cartridge bearings keeping the bike light and friction lighter.

2" Vee Speedster tyres roll over everything with minimum fuss, providing the comfort and stability young riders need. Internal cabling for a optional rear brake upgrade with custom Ritchey riser bars designed specifically to fit mini V short reach levers. As easy as riding a bike.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you shipping to Europe?

Due to customs issues we are not currently shipping bikes to EU member nations. We do not know when we will be able to ship into the EU again, but we are doing everything we can to find a way around this issue!

How do I know what size bike to order?

You will see an age and size guide against each bike, or we've put together this bike finder - click here. For balance bikes we recommend that your child can easily place both feet flat to the floor with a slight bend to the knee while seated. For 14" first pedal bikes, the seat height should allow your child to easily touch the ground while they are gaining confidence. Measure the inside leg and use the chart above to match the appropriate bike.

Can I return my bike if I don't like it or it doesn't fit well?

It's easiest all round of you make sure the bike you are buying is the right fit for your child before you order. Ask if you are unsure, bikes are large items to ship so sending one back is expensive. Of course, if the bike is the wrong size when you receive it or you've changed your mind and you want to return it you must let us know within 14 days of receipt. You must return it in its original packing within 30 days. Shipping is at your own cost but we can always help with the return and deduct the shipping cost from your refund. In all instances please contact us first.

My steering restrictor has snapped.

Our steering restrictors are designed to break as a safety feature. If the bike falls and lands on its side, the restrictor will break, preventing the handlebar from staying prone and potentially causing an issue if the bar is in the upright position when it falls. We suggest they only really need to be used for the first few months then we'd rather they weren't used once your child has the hang of steering.

How long is the guarantee on your bikes?

We offer a 1-year warranty on parts. However always contact us even if your bike is outside of warranty and we'll do what we can to get your bike back on the road.

Can I visit Early Rider to see the bikes?

We welcome visitors by appointment at our workshop just outside of Henley on Thames. It is a working workshop and warehouse with potential for containers and deliveries coming and going, so do drop us a line or give us a call to arrange a suitable time that is safe for all. All in stock bikes are available to look at, test out and purchase. Please make sure to abide by the social distancing guidelines.

Can I attach a kickstand to an Early Rider Bike?

We don't supply kickstands, but some of our bikes will take an aftermarket kickstand. Speak to your local bike store for advice.

Can I attach mudguards to an Early Rider bike?

Some of our bikes will take an aftermarket mudguard, take advice from your local bike store to see which is best.

Can I attach a bell to an Early Rider bike?

All our aluminium bikes come with a standard size 22.2mm handlebar. Any bell that fits this size handlebar is compatible with our aluminium ranges. If you have any further queries, your local bike store will be able to assist you further.

The best balance bike money can buy!

After months of research on the perfect balance bike for our not-so-little almost 2 year old, we decided on the charger 12 for its sleek looks, high end parts and for their no-nonsense approach to kids bikes design. We were not disappointed. Our little boy took to the bike instantly and would not get off it! A Christmas present that has been used everyday since, in muddy puddles, at the park, even to the shops!

We thought the charger would be better in comparison to the Bigfoot due to the lighter and faster rolling tyres as well as the lack of a brake which could be a distraction, although a brake upgrade will be needed soon!

Brilliant bike, highly recommended!

Great for the start

It looks good and sturdy. My little daughter was definitely impressed and it’s making her first steps on it. She isn’t 2 years old yet so she gets tired very fast but just right for the start. I suppose in a couple of months she will be rolling everywhere with it.

Work of art

I purchased this for my son some time ago, he took a while to start using it as he probably wasn't ready, in that time I thought about just mounting it on a wall as it's a beautifully designed and made bike, the boy eventually got used to it and rides everywhere now, love it
