Mountain bike DNA built for off road and every day adventure

No more N+1

One of the cycling industry’s more wasteful traits is the concept of +1. As much as we love bikes, it’s not cool that as an industry we sell bikes to meet the very specific needs of ever more niche categories. Commuting, road cycling, gravel riding, adventuring and mountain biking… if you listened to the cycling industry you’d need 5+ bikes to go about your everyday life.

The Seeker is our challenge to this wasteful n+1 mentality. The bike itself is specced better than a lot of adult mountain bikes with exceptional components inside and out. The geometry is just the right side of progressive, taking (some of) the effort out of short, sharp climbs without zapping any fun out of descents. All without losing any performance on smooth, flat and decidedly less gnarly terrain. The Seeker exists to prove that adventure happens on single track, on the trail and on the way to school.

Making light work of big rides

One thing we’ve learned about kids bikes is that the lighter and smaller the rider, the harder their components have to work. The wheels, tyres, brakes and finishing kit are the best mountain biking has to offer. Hub wheels and smooth bearings keep The Seeker rolling efficiently to conserve precious energy. The wide, chunky tyres have plenty of volume and grip because a molehill can feel like a mountain to them. The brakes, as with all of our brakes, are light, responsive and easy to use while giving enough feedback to prevent a dreaded over the bar situation.

Dialled in and daring, wherever they ride

And once we’d dialed in the mountain bike bit, we also made sure that The Seeker could operate just as confidently on the canal path into town. Granted, it’s not quite as light and zippy as The Belter, which is ideal if you’re spending the majority of your time on urban terrain. But The Seeker won’t transform into a tractor the moment you take it on-road. No one bike will ever do it all, but we like to think The Seeker can still do a lot.
