The Velio is designed to help children from the ages of 10 months develop co-ordination, master balance and get mobile. It actively encourages a child to engage their coordination and balance skills, but in a way that is safe and allows us to provide the support they need.

When using the Velio, there are two important tools:

The Tiller fits into the frame, so you can push and steer the Velio. You can introduce movements that prompt a counter response or decide how much balance support you give, putting control of their development firmly in your hands.

Our Active Balance Control system is a magical mechanism that slows a child’s fall, giving them the extra moments they need to coordinate a movement that keeps them balanced.

The amount of support it gives can be changed, simply by turning the bezel above the rear wheel. A more responsive setting may be preferred by a novice rider and a tighter, stiffer setting more suitable as they develop.

It's just about finding the right balance...

How much is shipping?

We will begin shipping to the UK, US, CH and EU member nations to begin with, with a view to expand as soon as possible.

UK: Shipping is free of charge in the UK.

EU: Shipping is a flat rate €7.95

US: Shipping is flat rate $

CH: Shipping is 9 CHF.

How long does delivery take?

UK: We aim to deliver in 1 to 2 days from dispatch.

Are the handle bars adjustable?

The standard bars are fixed. The Booster pack adds extra positions, with added height and reach.

Is the spring tension adjustable?

Yes. You can tighten or loosen it via our ABC system on the back of the Velio.

Does my child need to be walking to use the Velio?

No, if they can hold the grips and support themselves that is
all you need to start your child on one. The Tiller allows the adult to support the child for additional control.

Where can it be used?

The Velio can be used indoors and outdoors under parental supervision.

Are the tyres non marking?

Yes, the tyres on the Velio are non-marking.

What materials is it made from?

The Velio has a magnesium frame, EVA rubber tyres and plastic mudguards.

Where can I see a Velio?

The Velio can be viewed from the Early Rider HQ in Henley on Thames, England.

What’s included in the box?

Velio, Grips, Tiller, User Manual, Liferbook, 4mm allen key and nder tray/Velio stand.

What is the standover height?

The standover height is 20 - 25 cm depending on where you have the seat.

How do I assemble and maintain the Velio?

Assembly instructions come in the box.

To maintain your Velio refer to the user manual. A damp cloth to wipe down and free any moving parts of dirt is all that’s required.

Does it come in other colours?

No, the colour of the Velio is silver.

Great

My daughter had cdh, walking and balance was something I had tried to work on, she's only 14 months, the velio actually has given her confidence, with only 2 weeks of riding it she's doing long distances by her self.

Design allows her to be more balanced than with other bikes we had tried.

The only thing I didn't like is the support handle.

I definitely will get further bikes for my Gordita

Love this bike!

Amazing bike! We bought it for our son, he is 6 month old and already enjoys it very much. The size suits him already and he is able to go forward by his own. He needs still a bit help for the balance, but it makes it so much easier for him. Thanks to the booster handlebar he quickly found a way to hold it by himself and it looks quite comfortable for him. We love the super velio - thank you earlyrider! 🤩 Only negative point is the user instructions about the rotation button on the back. It is not very clear how to unlock it?!

This is a valuable tool for my son to learn balance and confidence. He cannot yet walk, however he uses this to walk behind, and the fact that it requires him to have equal force with both hands in order to stay balanced. The rod on the back allows me to help him and guide him on his journey to getting into the saddle.

This is an unbelievable product, unlike anything on the market. Do not hesitate, order one for your kid now.
