Belter 20 (MY24/25)

Hi , bought a belter 20 for my 5yo daughter after she was confident enough for a bigger model
A bit ‘wobbly’ at first and a bit uneasy with a new brake system but after two rides she is already adapted and enjoying every minute on her new bike
The handling is so easy because of the lightweight
frame and suitable on practical all terrains with the bigger tyres
Daughter happy = me happy

Lackschaden gekommen. Ist es ein 2nd Hand Rad?

My son is missing chromosomes. He began walking at 5. After one year of balance bike, he succeed pedals biking thanks to this belter 20. He his 10 years old but weight 28kg . He is not strong at all. The lightweight of early bikes helps him a lot !!! No problems with sharped pedals as sometimes read.

Après un an de draisienne, j’avais peur que mon enfant handicapé qui a marché à cinq ans, préfère continuer à pousser avec ses pieds que de pédaler. Grâce à ce vélo très léger, il a appris à démarrer, pédaler et s’arrêter en seulement trois jours. Je pense vraiment qu’avec un vélo lourd et beaucoup moins cher, comme la plupart des vélos enfants, il se serait découragé. C’est la première fois que je vois un vélo à courroie, et je pense que c’est un bon plus pour éviter l’enfant de se salir les mollets. Mon fils, qui n’a pas beaucoup de force, utilise tout le temps la vitesse une. Les vitesses dans le moyeu permettent de changer les rapports à l’arrêt et ce sera un avantage pour que je lui mette parfois la vitesse 2 lorsqu’il fait une pause. Les petits picots sur les pédales lui permettent que son pied ne glisse pas trop facilement. Je pense, et ça ne le blesse pas du tout comme j’avais pu lire sur certains commentaires (je suppose que le modèle de pédale a été changé après les plaintes concernant des pédales griffantes). Je ne regrette vraiment pas l’investissement, et je pense rester fidèle à cette marque pour la taille supérieure à l’avenir.

My daughter is a small 7 year old. She had no problems with the size of the bike but can easily change the gears, I know others have reported that this has been an issue for them. However no signs of this. She loves the bike and has been zooming around on it for about a month now. The bike is well made and a quality investment for anyone concerned about the price. We’ve had Early Rider bikes for both our kids and have passed them down as they get older. We’ve looked after them but the bikes are so well constructed they almost take care of themselves.

I and my daughter lover her Belter 20. The bike is great. Build quality is amazing, the bike is light and the belt drive does not disappoint. She tried a friends bike with traditional gears and was such an inferior experience compared to the belt drive.

Ein tolles Fahrrad. Nur leider muss man sich selbst um Schutzbleche kümmern, um es auch ganzjährig nutzen zu können.

Ps: the other two bikes ;the Belter 16” and the Bonsai have been through a lot of “abuse” from the kids the last 4 years and still perfect conditions !

We have the bike for year and a half. Robust, perfect geometry. Many kilometers on the clock. The boy was 5 yrs.
Cons: the grips are bad quality and need only original to be replaced if you do not want to cut and invent new designs. Last about 4 mounts. Our bike came with metal pedals which are sharp and not grippy but nice bearings. The belt is little pain to adjust but once in place no noises but small cracks have occurred. Brake pads fade away in rain. Overall a top bike but need updates on the mentioned issues and an easier shifter if possible. The best position for advanced kids on the marked. Our third Early Rider.

Having recently upgraded from Belter 16 to 20 for my daughter, I am again very impressed with the build quality of the bike. The only point that prevents a 5 star rating are the pedals, which have been designed in a crazy way with 2 sharp points on the outside, which being aluminium consistently scratched my daughters legs every time she used the bike. I have now had to change these pedals, which one shouldn't have to do for a bike at this price point...

Everything from unboxing to setting it up is super easy.

This is my second belter 20, so both kids are now on this, they both had belter 16’s. Before that they were both on the previous version of the charger.

This converts to never having to use trainer wheel, and kids that want to bike everywhere.

I simple love low maintenance as well.

This is worth every penny.

We bought the ER Belter 16" when my daughter was 3 years old and she really love to ride it for 3 years now. As she grow up the 16" belter gets too small for her so there was no doubt we will buy the ER Belter 20" and here we go. I want to cut the handlebar about 20mm for her and i will rebuy the same brake levers as they are mounted at the Belter16" but this bike is the best bike in it's class. We will follow up with a early rider 24" in a few years for sure.

Wir haben für meine Tochter mit einem Woom 2 begonnen und waren damals sehr zufrieden. Als dann das nächste Rad anstand, wollten wir auf das Woom 3 gehen, welches jedoch überall ausverkauft war. Durch ein wenig suche sind wir auf Early Rider gekommen und haben uns damals für das Belter 16 entschieden.
Der Rest ist eigentlich Geschichte. Das Fahrrad war in jeder Hinsicht grandios. Die Qualität war super, der Riemenantrieb ist wirklich schlau und das Rad sieht einfach geil aus (nicht nur meine Meinung! Silber ist besser als Lila sagt meine Tochter; nur Gold wäre noch besser). Da jetzt das nächste Rad an der Reihe war, war eigentlich klar, dass es wieder ein Early Rider wird und da wir von Belter 16 sehr begeistert waren, wurde es jetzt der Belter 20.
das Rad ist, wie nicht anders zu erwarten top und die erste kleine tour die war hatten verlief super.
Ein paar Kleinigkeiten müssen noch eingestellt werden, die Bremsen sind etwas weit weg und die Schaltung ist noch etwas zu schwergängig, aber das sollten wir in den nächsten Tagen erledigt haben.
Summa Summarum, ein wirklich tolles Fahrrad, welches ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.

Mein Sohn ist 120cm groß und kam mit dem Belter 20“ sofort super zurecht. Der Belter fährt sich quasi von alleine, ist sehr leicht und leichtgängig. Die Bremsen sind auch einfach Top. Natürlich alles gute hat auch irgendwo seine Nachteile. Die Gangschaltung ist für meinen Sohn zu schwergängig, was ich aber nicht so dramatisch finde, weil er auch mit dem ersten Gang ziemlich zügig unterwegs ist und schneller für 5 jährige muss es auch nicht sein.
Die Pedalen sind sehr schön, aber für meinen Sohn zu scharfkantig, was ebenfalls für mich kein Problem darstellte, habe einfach ein paar andere nach seinem Geschmack besorgt.
Fazit: wir sind von dem Belter begeistert, der 24“ folgt mit seinem Wachstum ☺️

Little guy finally outgrew his 16” belter and graduated to the 20. He loved the 16” and the 20” just elevates his experience to another level. Quick delivery to Canada and a very happy 7 year old! Dad too!

Bought this for my son's 7th birthday. He loves it, and the gears are very easy to use. One problem is the pedals...the outside corners of the foot pedals are very sharp and as a result his legs are scraped up....its kind of an odd design choice with no apparent benefit. Easily fixed with new pedals, but why should I have to? 4 stars for this reason only...otherwise it would be 5 stars.

top bike, switched from the small one to this, my boy, 5 yrs old, loves it. he can switch gears perfectly, can 100% recommend it👍😊

Switched from Woom 3 to Belter 20. Smooth transition, a lot bigger than the Woom but plenty room to grow.
