"Feels like I'm flying"

My daughters' love of riding started at age 2 when I bought her a secondhand Bigfoot 12, she was ready for pedals by her 3rd birthday so she moved up to a secondhand seeker 14. Once she started to outgrown the 14" and it was time to move up there was no doubt her next bike would be another Early Rider. Our first brand new bike. The seeker X16. She requested a "purple dinosaur bike" for Christmas so our X16 has been customised with some HOPE, SDG, ODI and HUP components and frame protected with a Dino indiprint wrap. This is her favourite thing in the world. Her bike is her happy place. It inspires confidence and at age 4 she is riding MTB trails every weekend, although her bike comes literally everywhere with us.

Amazing bike

Great solid bike, with cool looks. Nice low weight for this type of bike and tires. Love the belt drive. Good adjustability on the disc brake levers.

Superb

Recently purchased the Seeker X16 for my other halfs 4 year old daughter who'd outgrown her balance bike and was saying she wants to ride bikes with me when she's bigger. Decided the seeker X16 was the ideal bike to get her on with it being built perfectly for young children but sturdy enough to ride trails and get wheels off the ground. Not cheap but it is well built and thought out especially having belt drive to reduce the weight a little.

Lottie is loving being out on it and has already been off a small wooden kicker ramp I built, I'm sure it won't be long before we're hitting some blue trails

The best little bike ever

We started the ride a year ago on the Seeker 14 and now continue on the x16. Amazing bike, great workmanship and fitment. I had to do a little upgrade because my son wanted a grass green bike.

My son is loving it!

This was a great buy! Only had it for about two days on the dirt but can already see my little one getting so much confidence. He stepped upp from a 12 inch "mtb". On this new bike he has better body posture, speed and control.
My boy is 3.5yo and measures 107cm. He is quickly getting to like this bike and learning to ride on some mini pumptracks. The bike is light and well geared between speed and some climbing. I love the belt drive!
The best thing about this bike is the brakes. This was my first priority on a new bike and they deliver! The small hands can easily lock the rear wheel for some fun and control is good with nice modulation. I'm happy I could adjust the levers close to the steering for him to reach and I've moved them in a bit for 2 finger breaking which works great. Never will I have to worry brakes are not enough!
There was only one small thing to complain about and that was the rotation/tension of the front brake's cable. It was pushing in the headset and would have worn out the paint in no time. I rotated the caliper one lap to get the cable out of the frame but it's now "pointing" the other way. Thought of releasing the knut in the level to get the rotation just right but did not want to risk spilling oil or getting air in now that the bike is brand new. Small thing to even mention and probably different in every unit. Just bothered me a little.
All in all extremely satisfied with this bike and hope it's gonna be the key to get my kid hooked on the sport.

Living the Dream

I very rarely write product reviews. This bike has exceeded every expectation I had. I’m out there riding trails with my five year old, and he has the BIGGEST smile on his face the whole time. A premium price for sure, but this is a premium product worth every penny if you have a kiddo that loves riding bikes as much as you do!

5 year old loves his new bike

Well built bike. Really glad spent £50 more for the disc brakes. Really responsive compared to the V brakes.

Best Look on the Market, perfect handling, poor quality drivetrain, deadly poor quality brakes

This review is the result of weeks of withheld emotions:
I bought the Seeker 16" because it's probably the best you can get for little shredders and it fits my enduro perfectly.
Son's first bike was the 14" bike, nice toy, kid loved it and learned to ride his bike 1 week before his 3rd birthday, good kid bike (It unfortunately had problems with cracking drive, German supplier "bike components" provided perfect service).

This 16" bike (bought new online in August 2022 because it was no longer available in Germany) has again problems with freewheel and a defective front brake.
In case you read over it: a NOT working front brake on your child's bike that you bought new because your child deserves only the best and safest.
I don't know if it was my karma or my son's, but in two weeks we'll be racing down the trails in France, preferably with a flawless brake.
So far there has been no support from early rider, after this report that might change.
Yesterday I removed the front brake and replaced it with a lighter, stronger, mature and FUNCTIONING brake with a 180 disc.
@engineers & sales: the 140 front brake is not up to the heat generated when riding at child speed: not enough surface area, not enough material, too much force for the child's fingers. Is an MTB?
The brake pads already started to glaze, the braking force decreases.
My enthusiasm and conviction about this product is slowly changing from "a pro-level kids bike for serious use" to "a nice looking hipster bike with huge margins and short-lived cheap noname bike parts".
I still like the kids bike, especially with the men's brake.
Please get back to me and stop selling junk brakes.
There is a safety risk, take care of it, parents !

The Search is Over

My 4yr old went through a slew of testing bikes on the trail. None of them have the geometry considerations of younger riders.... except for Early Rider. Thanks to the lightweight frame and hydraulic disc brakes, my little boy is able to navigate the trails easier than all the other bikes on the market. Can't say enough good things about the product!

Seeker x16

- Unwucht an beiden LaufrƤdern!
Aufgrund der MƤngel habe ich das Fahrrad erst mal in die Werkstatt zur Reparatur gebracht. Weitere Meldung bzgl. der Rechnung folgt. Das geht so nicht! Echt Schade!

Nice little bike

Fair play this bike is amazing I fell in love with it when I seen it out off the box my son is over the moon and it’s pushed his riding confidence on so much today we did a 13.3 mile ride and he enjoyed every part off that ride the bike is well put together with nice parts and he said it’s comfy to ride he is a well happy 4 year old and would recommend this bike to any 1 who is thinking off getting 1 for there kids
