Warranty Policy

LIMITED WARRANTY

The frame, fork and components of your Early Rider are covered by our warranty for two years from the date of the original purchase.

The warranty stays with the bike, not with the owner. If the bike is passed on or sold, the warranty transfers to the new owner, provided they have the original proof of purchase, for example the order confirmation or invoice. The two years always run from the date of the original purchase.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

Please fill out our warranty claim form and include your proof of purchase. Photos or a short video of the issue help our customer service team understand it and resolve it quickly. For general questions, visit our support pages or contact us.

HOW WE HANDLE A CLAIM

1. Early Rider decides whether a faulty part is repaired or replaced.

2. If the original part is no longer available, we may supply an equivalent or successor part.

3. A repair or replacement under this warranty does not extend or restart the warranty period.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

1. Normal wear and tear, including consumables such as tyres, grips, brake pads, inner tubes, suspension seals, bearings and cables.

2. Any damage, failure or loss caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, or failure to follow the instructions or warnings in the owner's manual or the manuals supplied with the bike for the original equipment.

3. Any damage, failure or loss caused by using the bike for stunt riding, acrobatics or similar activities, or in any other way it was not designed for. Bent frames, forks, handlebars, seat posts or wheel rims can be a sign of misuse or abuse.

4. The owner pays all labour charges for the repair or replacement of parts. This limited warranty never includes the cost of shipping or transport to or from an authorised Early Rider distributor or retailer.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

This is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It is given in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer and does not limit or replace them.

USEFUL PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE

Every Early Rider bike and frameset has a useful life cycle. The useful life cycle is not the same as the warranty period. The warranty identifies the period of time in which Early Rider will replace the product if this becomes necessary; it does not guarantee that the product will last forever. The length of the useful life cycle will vary depending on the type of bike, riding conditions and the care the bike receives. Any non-standard use can substantially shorten the useful life cycle of an Early Rider bike or frameset. All Early Rider bikes and framesets should be checked annually by an authorised Early Rider dealer for signs of potential failure, including cracks, corrosion, dents, deformation, peeling paint and any other indication of potential problems, inappropriate use or abuse. These are important safety checks that help prevent accidents, injury to the rider and a shortened useful life cycle of an Early Rider frameset. As with all mechanical components, a bike is subject to wear and high stresses. Different materials and components can react to wear or stress fatigue in different ways. If the design life of a component has been exceeded, it may suddenly fail, possibly injuring the rider. Any crack, scratch or change of colour in highly stressed areas indicates that the component has reached the end of its life and should be replaced.
